Thread: action shot 1. Will it stack?
The bleed effect is on the action pool, always. Always has been.
Only change is they don't stack and the bleed got reduced. Which in turn makes Carbineer even more useless.

than waiting for the action shot to take affect.I was woundering if hitting him with action shot 1 twice is a good idea?
Spamming /action shot 1on a single target will only give the target one bleed DoT. However, you can improve the bleed DoT if the second AS1 was a higher damage than the first.
The bleeds on actionshot1 and actionshot2 are so small right now, I recommend not really bothering with them. This is also true of all bleeds in the game right now.
In general, carbineers do best using the random pool shots and ignoring the action targeting specials. I know your path through the novice marksman box trained you to target action, but carbineer really is different than "marksman" carbineer. Focus on using fullautosingle2, burstshot1, scattershot2 or crippleshot for damage. Reserve actionshot1 for its posture down effect. Once you get suppressionfire2, use that for posture downs.

cheech i agree with nova. Legshot 2 does avrage damage much less per second than full auto single 2...i think close to twice as much. It mostly hits health and action. So you are hitting the crap out of what most likely are the pools their specials take. And you also have a good shot of getting a 700+ damage PvP shot to Mind...bout 1 in 4 or so. if an enemy is buffed your leg shots wont even realy hurt them as fast as it will regen anyway. But blinding and stunning makes it much harder for them to hit you. Against a buffed enemy leg shots give you almost no chance for a win but full singles will realy mess them up in any ham they are weak in...usualy mind
True, but they will make mind healable. Which then leaves us as the only profession unable to target a single pool for high damage.
We should have some diversity as well and remember, there's no healing going on in PvE. If we keep ignoring action damage, which is one of our unique abilities we might very well end up royally screwed once the combat pass is done.
