I need to know the best way to maximize combat xp. Can someone please help me with this? I read something somewhere about using grenades, but when I do (the C12 kind) I don't get SQUAT for combat xp.
And any good animals to hunt for this would be appreciated
Thanks,

first, you have to hit the target with the c12s. then you'll see two combat xp messages- the regular one you'd get for just killing a creature, followed by another (usually larger) number that's based on the damage the grenade did. Grenades don't always hit - they are subject to all the same things other weapons are - miss, dodge, counterattack, resists ect...

what i did was take some high level missions and wen all the mobs were dead i would get in ideal range for the nads and kneel down. then chuch a ton of em at the base till it died. Dont do it on low missions though as they dont give to much exp for being killed to make taking the time to use nads and the money to buy em worth it.

The alternate way to doing lairs is this:
Find some random spawning slicehounds or other lower level critters. Get some decent kinetic resist armor, a set of buffs, stand next to the lair and lob nades at it. You want all the low level critters in the blast radius. You can wrack up between 30-40k of combat exp in an hour if you get some good spawns with very little risk to life and limb.
