With the upcoming patch, Carbineer will be less effective than chef class. don't bother

Yes I'm not a carbineer, but once again the devs compltely ruined a profession. I never thought it would be carbineer either. Carbineer was one of the most broken professions in the game. Now they're still broken and they're best attack/defense was stripped.
I feel for you carbineers.

But then again..........equip yourself with a Stormtrooper armor, and an Elite Carbine....BAM!
You = Officially a Stormtrooper, why? Because most stormtroopers in the New Hope use Elite Carbine.

I personally think the Devs simply brought carbinier in line with their Con and Challenge level system. Creatures that are supposed to be hard, are hard to carbiniers. Creatures that are supposed to be impossible, are impossible to carbiniers.
Problem is we are the only ones that are actually in line with this system.... so the answer is no.... carbs are not worth it till te rest of the professions are nerfed into line as well.

That's e11 not elite's they use.

Standard Stormtrooper sidearm is the BlasTech E-11 Blaster Rifle. Some stormtroopers carry T-21s ot DLT-20s. Some Imperial officers carry DH-17s, KK-5s, or DL-18. The Elite carbine was created specifically for SWG. Lucas Arts changed a LOT of the weapon data to fit the game. ie.. DX-R6 is actually a disruptor.
