Heyas...until about 3:00pm PST today i wasa TKM/MasterRifleman
I went from carbines 1 to novice carbineer 0103 today. currently im just killing savage quenkers on dant with my DXR6 and was wondering what trees should i go up first and what else should i think about killing.
TY for the responses, and in my opinioin i hope to god carbineer does not turn into a FOTM, i am just seeking a good combat class that i can use to support my melee and rifleman buddies in pvp, cying how my guild, RECON, is a purely pvp oriented guild on tempest...
im gunna go MCM/MasterCarbineer

I am in the same boat but I got 0013 first. I was talking to a few master carbineers and they all said to go up the first branch first. The speed helps alot. As soon as I am there I will give you some more info. I am doing the same thing as you, going to Dantooine and going after savage quenkers. Seems to be the easiest creature to go after for the xp you recieve. I am not sure if that helps.

i used a krayt dh17 for my lvling. i went to dant, cant remember the tree but its one with crippling shot. with my dh17 i could spam this getting upto 2300 damage. i then went for acuracy tree, then speed (the dh17 was at 1.4 spd already)

Don't use CrippleShot, it is not the highest DPS shot you have. 0010 Carbineer gets you FullAutoSingle2 and BurstShot1 which are equal to or better than Crippleshot.
Both speed and accuracy are important, but most of us feel it is easier to increase accuracy outside of getting skills than is the speed. Work Assault and Marksmanship equally if you can. Of course your other skills and choice of weapons and ability to buy attachments affects the best path.
