Thread: Carbineer, the weakest combat profession

I have mastered every combat elite except bounty hunter. I just got carbineer today and I must say it is the weakest of any melee or ranged profession. This isn't a dis no all your devout carbineers out there rather a cry for the devs to make this profession as usefull as the others. I was a rifleman immediatly before this which did gross ammounts of power with high speed at any distance. I'm not sure what everyone else thinks about this but I just thought I would weigh in beacuse most people havn't experienced all of the other combat elites.

You have not mastered bh and you just mastered carbineer. See what you dont understand is these are two proffesions that take skill. Up until now you just have spamming speacials, you play proffesions that are for noobs or are fotm. Its not the proffesion that sucks its just you.

May I ask how many other combat professions you have mastered? When I was master TKA/Pistoleer/Smuggler I dominatedEVERY bounty hunter/carbineer I came across. So I think I know a little about skill. You trying to belittle me hasn't changed my mind about this profession. You aparently took this personally.

EnzymE, pay no mind to the BH wanna be Carbineer.....
FOTM = Flavor of the Month, ie where the PvP'ers go to after every publish/patch.

Actually I have not mastered that many only 2, but I do know the proffesions I have beat in pvp. And so your good at beating noob bounty hunters and carbineers who dont know how to pvp. But it sounds like your a holo grinder and your b*tchy because you cant get your fs slot.

FOTM = Rifleman with their Jawa's.
Which btw today is my last day of PvP under this BS system. My Master Carbineer + BH Carbine line player couldn't hit a Master Rifleman with TK Defenses/Fencer Defenses/Pistoleer Defenses.
The PvP is all about who's a rifleman with a Jawa, or a CM with Mind Poisons. Carbineers serve their place...but we gotta hit stuff first.

I didn't mean for this to turn into a flame war but you make some glaring errors. For one, I certainly am not happy about master 27 professions and not unlocking but that fact doesn't make me randomlybiased toward certain professions as you suggest. Also, you claim that I have gone up against noob BH/carbineers but who's to say the people you claim to have killed are not noobs. I obviously have a much stronger ethos than you so please lose the acid tongue. I want this profession to be as good as the rest which is why I am posting not to say that you stink. The fact is that I have come across some weak profs in my journey but none as bad as carbineer.

mack, when you attack the person rather than the persons argument, you're basically implying that you have no counter-argument. You have yet to make one good, valid counter argument against his original premise.

Actually I have to attack the person because she is attacking the proffesion and some people just dont know how to pvp. And if you are talking about my grinding post then you are prettyslow to not see that it was a joke.

He isn't trying to belittle our profession you freakin' idiot, geez, can't you read? Obviously this guy has played a lot of combat professions and he is gonna know which one is the weakest and the strongest. He has made a valid arguement, carbineers are vastly underpowered. Yes, if you play your carbineer roll well sometimes you can win in PvP, but against other combat professions you will lose quite a fewmore times than not.
