I've read tests postedin the BH forumthat getting the first box of CounterAttack is all you need. What's broken is that getting extra boxes of CounterAttack doesn't give you any more CounterAttack than just one box does.

Is this true?

yeah counter-attack does pretty much suck atm. it use be be jawesome back in the day though...but still get the specials from the tree

yes, the next attack in your combat que is what will be used as the "counterattack" shot...but it won't be an extra shot if that's what your'e getting it...it'll be like you were normally fighting, just that specific burstshot2 won't miss or be blocked/dodged/counterattacked (tho i have very very rarely seen a counterattack shot evaded (dodged)).

I was not asking if I'd get an extra shot. I know that much, lol.

Thanks for the info. This makes counterattack look much more appealing to me. It's not defense, but the best defense is a good offense and this makes a good one even better.

Only decision now is whether to go 3040 Carbineer, 0340 Carbineer or 0430 Carbineer.

Counter attack is definatly broken. At master fencer I think you get 105 dodge soooo we should be counter attacking just as much I would assume ( if counter attack was working like it should )

well...w/ +125/+150 effective counterattack (swordsman & +25attachments), i counterattack MUCH more than a carbineer w/ +105counterattack...much less someone w/ just one box, so i dunno...i sure think it works, my friend working up swordsman didn't counterattack anything in the geono lab 'til she got the last 2 boxes of counterattack.

Can I choose which attack to use in CounterAttack? In other words, if the next attack in my queue is BurstShot2, will that be the shot that is used in the CounterAttack?

Or will it just be a normal defensive shot?
