Im thinking about squad leader/carbineer for great group support, but i dunno. either that or carbineer and something else? Is SL and carbineer a good choice or should i get something else? Plz post ur opinions.

squad leader is full support class. it provides very if no defenses if you are going to be doing a lot of pvping squad leader would be a great help. But as carbineer has low defenses you might want to consider something else. picking up a melee class a little bit could provide defenses as well. i personally am a master carbineer, combat medic 4/4/1/4. (working towards mcm) this is a good support. group heals, crowd control, and the offensive side of concocting and chucking poisons to group poison.

If you love carbines and want to take it 1 step further you could get some BH. Very good specials and the speed will blow your mind away, but it doesn't leave you any SP for defenses.

Personally i think SL is kind of pointless at the moment. Sure the bonuses are nice, but they aren't really battle turning factors. When i first started the game SL was my second choice (first being carbineer) I had this vision of standing on the battlefield screaming orders to 20-30 other players standing on the front line in the thick of things. That just isn't the case at the moment. I would pick up something else until the SL Revamp which is coming soon. I have faith that SOE will fix the proffession. I remember someone telling me what they thought SL should be. They said SL should the proffession that when you are engaged in combat with that group the first thought that comes to mind is **edit** they have a SL! Until that dayi would steer clear. Try a melee proffession that is what i did and i love it. considering doing CM next just for the ability to heal mind
