yesterday, i was walking threw yavin, getting bored as i normally do, wondering why am i even bothering trying to master this profession. walking up and down the beach killing everything.

mind you i'm:

Unbuffed (yea for some reason i can do that)
Unarmored (yea i can fight and live like this too)

So i'm looking at this nest and i deside to attack it. I pull out my trusty EE3 my weapon of choice you'll see why in a sec. Suddenly i accidentally Click Action shot 2 - hearing that it's worthless made me not use it much. I hit everything on my screen. Forced them all to kneeling and made them all bleed While hitting there action pool. I was like Holy hell.

Well i just want you guys to know this. the EE3 is an area attack weapon. I spend hours thinking it was the move.

here's my EE3. unarmored and unbuffed sept for mind. action shot 2 does 100 damage to me and burstshot does 93.

imho, this is the best carbineer grinding weapon in the game. Dono about the slug thrower yet.

Try the same special with a different weapon - you'll get the same result. Actionshot2 is a cone attack - any carbine you use will hit everything in the area. The EE3 is just supposed to be able to do it on the single target specials as well. (Although rumors indicate that the "radius" feature is actually broken and doesn't do anything.)

Not sure where you get your info, but whoever told you ActionShot2 is a complete waste is VERY wrong. That shot is HEAVILY used by a lot of Carbineers. Action pool only shot that is AoE with a Posture Down......that is UBER man.

On the EE3 radius....personally I don't think it is broken at all.....but at 3m it just doesn't hit anything as the AI will flank any target it attacks. And remember that is a true AoE and not a cone on the EE3.....it's just the 3m part that is "broke".

Combine it with a FAA and if you can stick the dizzies, you can do a quick /laugh, then continue attacking

Problem is that posture changes only seem to work on humanoids. (and only sentient at that) I can't posture change a Mamien or Gurkfor my life.

Well you can't Dizzy/KD a creature.....but you most certainly CAN change their posture down. Sunday night I did multiple Posture Downs on an Ancient Krayt Dragon.....so if it can be done on that, then ANYTHING can be done

BTW, I fired hundreds and hundreds of ActionShot2 and landed maybe a handful of Posture Downs....

Actually, I use ActionShot2 on mid-level creatures all the time, and it works wonders. It causes them to just sit still for about 10-15 seconds or so. If they don't have any ranged attacks (like most MOBs), you can pretty much use AS2 near a lair with a lot of creatures and fire from 40-50m (ideal range) without ever being hit.

It's also *great* for PvP - it inflicts a bleed (in some cases, the player will waste one move healing it, which is good for you) and considering the fact that few templates factor in much posture down defenses, it's a sure bet to land a Dizzy/KD after that.

ActionShot2 is indeed a gem.

Dizzying creature is possible, however they do not fall when they change postures. So an npc who is kd/dizzied will attempt to get up and fall repeatedly whereas a creature who is kd/dizzied will get up without falling and wont fall from posture changes while dizzied.
