Thread: Good for PvE?

I'm an old-time Carbineer...way back from August-September, dropped it to continue my chase of random professions to experience the game, I like Carbineer and loved the concept of an assault trooper...
...but I also love soloing missions sometimes, a great way to relieve stress from class and work sometimes.
Curious tho...as you can see my template,I can solo most creatures no problem...and enjoy it! With good buffs, decent armor and backup muon I love it.
But how do Carbineers *NOW* feel about PvE? I could care less about Charge Shot 1 KD (Master Brawler gives me four kinds of knockdown) but PvE? With buffs, decent kinetic armor and good weapons...could a Carbineer be able to solo the 9-10K missions I do now?
I love melee, but screens of Star Wars: Battlefront remind me of my old fun days of shooting...so any responses would be appreciated!
ps: Battlefront looks awesome!

Carbineer is like any other Elite Profession in mission PvE sense. Of course you can solo 10k missions, even without buffs.
Fierce Picket Protectors are around 10k, and with good armor, just take a hit of BoH and Ice Cream, with muon just in case, and fullautoarea2 away. A few good blasts with a damage sliced/power-uped laser and you've downed a few already. From 60m away, they havn't even hit you yet, so you've lost barely any ham because of the BoH. Pick off the rest before they pick you off.

I'm almost there...4434, and I'm loving it. The best is being in a group with either melee profs or ch's. I just get to sit back with my scoped laser tearing away at stuff with Crippling Shot saving teammates from angry jantas with CS1. I can solo 10-15k missions no problem with buffs, and faction missions are a joke when I get to stay nice and ranged.

I have no problem soloing all but the hardest mobs. I am a master doc and master carbineer though so i am alwase buffed. I do reble missions and can take on 5-6 stormtroopers with no fear at all. Usualy the missions only spawn 3 or so but wen i get both of em together i love it because it gets exciting. I can take on 2-3 rancors at the same time and win...If that is any indication to you. Only thing that can be a problem is if you get a large pack of mele mobs that suround you...but even then most of the time....no problem.
