I've found Carbineer/Doctor to be a pretty useful combination so far.

As a doc, I can't be relied upon as the principle source of firepower since I may need to ressurect or bring somebody back from incap to full strength quickly.

Carbine is good because initially I can pin down high HAM dangerous creatures and stack bleeds on them. Having done that, I need to be able to drop in and out of combat to do various medical tasks, including dragging bodies/corpses, heals, ressurects as required.

Pretty happy with Carbine as complimentary to a doctor's role.

Just hope they don't nerf the posture lower and bleed effects ... but if they do that they'll probably nerf everything anyway.!

go with pistoleer. if you want to join the big crowed of pistoleer monkeys, so far they are more powerfull than any other class.

I am a master doctor/midlevel carbineer, and I find it a good combination.

The high HAM costs of carbines are not a problem when you can buff your stats so high. PvE becomes easy and in PvP you get to drain the pool that people rely on for their specials.

Killer combo...

Trick is to migrate your stats into mind, and leave the rest of your HAM's as low as possible. You wont be able to fight unbuffed, but as you're a master doctor, it wont matter...

Also, encumbrance and weapon HAM costs can become a thing of the past... Whats 250 health encumbrance when you have all stats buffed at 1.5-2k +?

Makes for a fun and durable character... Not the type ofsoldierthat typically is a wizard at PvP however, but you'll be able to hold your own...

its a great combo for the already mentioned reasons....i did change all my stats to make my mind strongest possible and just keep yourself buffed all the time 1.5-2k buffs will do awsome... i can take TKA and BH's if i just KD them over and over if i get the 1st shot....just got to play smart

Yeah the above posters have got it dead on

Migrate all of your stats to mind and never fight unbuffed. Carry muon, fishak, and glucose...with uber healing skills you should only ever die by mind. Roll a zabrak...with the aforementioned mind food buffs you can get your mind pool to 2700. Equilibrium to make a Rifleman shoot through it twice.

Advantages are:

- Ignore HAM costs for any weapon or special move.

- Can wear a full suit of armor any time

- Extremely Durable...with buffed HAMs and full comp armor you can take a absolute pounding and still live.

- With the right macro you Can cure your self of poison/disease and state effects VERY quickly.

Disadvantages are:

- As a prevoius poster mentioned, your damage output wont be that high. On my character, I have tried to get around this buy buying up Carbine speed attachments, and trying to hit the speed cap with Crippleshot...one of the better damaging Carbine specials. I use a speed sliced and speed powered up Elite Carbine. Going for speed is fine with this combo as you arent worried about HAM costs.

- You dont really have an answer to Dizzy/KD. I havent figured out a way around this yet, what I am trying to do at the moment is buy up Counterattack skill tapes and hope that it comes off often enough to help out a bit. Not a great solution but Im open to ideas.

**edit**ty, they can heal dizzy while on their back and with good buffs and armor they are only hard to take out.

Basically, hard to beat if you dont have buffs and armor yourself.

Warcry2 is GG for "While on back" dizzy healers. and Rifle/Doctors will own any carbineer/doctor.
