Chargeshot is what keeps carbineer competitive considering the lower speed but we also have the highest damage mod in the game that i know of and i have done every combat prof except commando and pikeman. I will also stay with carbines cause they look cool

It will definately weed out the bandwagoners....


I am not master, hell, just started the journey. I am not here for chargeshot. I am here because I like the weapons and see it as a Mid ranged profession. As a Master Doc, I see Carbine as being at the edge of the thick of things...Rifle is outside....and Pistol is the Melee of Ranged..


Again, all a matter of preference..

If they "fix" chargeshot, they better fix chargeshot2 or there won't be any carbineers left. Personally, I would go Pistoleer due to the fact that the pistol market on my server is great. The BH/Pistoleer combo really increases the number of incredible pistols created by weaponsmiths. There's some nice Carbines, but not enough to where I can afford them on a regular basis.

iam staying, i loved it long before i even knew about chargeshot.

i just dont like the other ranged profs, and i dont want to do a brawler.

rifle man uses mind(cant heal that), gets killed fast at close range and is really slow.

pistols dont do much damage and has a low ideal range

Mix in some CH and Carbineer ROCKS!!!


One of my hunting buddies is a Master Pistoleer and Master CH, but I do TONS more damage than him

If chargeshot gets nerfed riflemen will go to a 3 second cap and pistoleers to a .5 second cap. That's my prediction. This + fixing specials + secondary defense stacking nerf means I don't know what I would do, heh. Probably just stay BH Carbineer.

Probably go carbineer/doc, or stay carbineer/swordsman just because mind bleeds are all that would save me in PvP.

I agree with Burnham if the fix CS1 by adding a a KD timer, removing the auto-KDand not allow us to spam it and let us use CS2 as intended with the same timer i think they will be ok ... alot of people will get upset and crybut i mean c'mon as if you didnt see this coming ... the only reason they haven't nerfed CS1 is because of the all the problems AoE attacks are getting and the devs want to leave us on our feet (pun intended) and they don't want to nerf CS1 without giving us a working CS2

If they do nerf CS1 I hope they fix the following:


CS2 does not knock down multiple targets, does very little damage and cost huge ham. This needs fixing.


Legshot 3 Costs more ham then legshot2 but does same if not less damage.


wildshot2 does not seem to stun multiple targets also costs huge ham.


suppressionshot2 doesn't seem to work, does not position change multiple targets cost huge ham.


counter attack seems to just dodge, to me when you counter attack it should fire an extra shot for that round.


The elite carbine needs to get a boost, so far the best unsliced damage range is 120ish to 180ish can we get the max to 240 for adv elites? so perhaps a 150-240 unsliced.


Quest carbine nyms slug thrower is a nice wall orniment, can this be boosted a little, this carbine also decays faster then others.

Before they do any nerfing I would really like to see our class get fixed. Carbineer is horrbile broken, I can kill myself faster then me spamin' my HS3 with my Jawa. HAM costs really need to be looked at
