Did i forget to mention that i bought this game 3 days ago? well.......plus the free 14 day trial.

I just hit Master Carbineer the night before last, and iowe alot of it to these forums and those stickies. 
I chose Master Carbineer and Master Bio-Engineer as my professions, with no real thought put into that template...obviously, lol. Needless to say i'm not very PvP worthy.......as a matter of fact i got smoked like 7-8 times last night while trying to defend our base....of course i was unbuffed for the last 7 deaths and there were easily over10 of them taking turns at me (what a pest i must have been lol). Ifinallygot some buffs on the beach andcaught up with one of those imps that killed me 2 or 3 times prior....takiwobacca was his name, a wookiethat carried a rifle, and i'm guessing he ran out of those poison/disease things he kept throwing at me - cuz i knocked em down andproceeded to shoot him dead!!! My very first deathblow! BO!
Anyway...memory ripe in brain, lol.....
Of all the things i've noticed, as a MC i'm much more effective taking out human mobs than i am monster mobs. Reason being that most human
mobs tend to stay within that 30% (i think it's 30%?) cone, whereas the monsters tend to group around me no matter how much herding i try to do lol. This allowed me to take out spawns of 4-5 ST's in roughly the same amount of time it takes my bro's rifle chick to take down one. That's pretty cool, heh. So i need to better learn my role in groups as a crowd controller - needing to keep the mob in a cone and move around accordingly ect. I'm having alot of fun so far, and this has made my DNA sampling go all that much quicker now that i can defend myself in a more timely manner.
I'm disappointed that LegShot3 does not work as it should.
And that my counterattack doesn't work as it should. I dodge, i'm just not counter"attacking".
One question i might ask, is for suggestions as to where to spend the remainder of my points....i was thinking Artisan so i can have a small vendor to sell some of my BE stuff on or spending them on healing/medic. I need to go play around with that allahkazam site some more and see what else i could do.
OHHH - my guns!I use a sliced laser carbine, 1** - 401, low HAM cost and average speed for most of my killin, and for PvP (i'm in no position yet to be "examining" my enemies suit of armor to see what weapon i should be using, so igo with the default Elite Carbine) i have a good damage EC with a 2.3 second speed thing on it, it's pretty damn quick! And a few others which are all pretty nice, no idea what they'd cost though as they were all donated to me by friends and family <WOD>.
Moving on, ijust wanted to say THANK YOUfor all the info found here, i really learned alot as i'm sure others have.
I'm off to Master BE now, halfway done!

The worst thing is that I've been playing this game since June 27, 2003 and have been a carbineer that whole timeand I am 2312 carbineer.... And they say that the casual player should master in a month
