Thread: carbineer's counter attack stacks with swordsman's??

oops..
anyways, are there alot of swordsman/carbineers out there? i'm a master swordsman, currently with master doc, but i have been curious about the carbineer prof for a while.
according to the character builder calculator i use, u could have master carbineer/master swordsman and have 66 skill points remaining, which would give u +205 counter attack. doescounter attackonly stack to 125?
combine that with fencer 4/4/4/0 and u get melee d +89, dodge + 90, ranged d +111 (all together)
thought from the carbineer and swordsman community would be appreciated

I believe that the dodge/block/couterattack stacking mods are hard capped at 125, but I have noactual testing numbers to back this up. I would not even know how to test this in game

even if it is capped at 125, it still sounds like a fun combo. have u ever hunted unbuffed? how does that template do if you use /center?can u /center with a carbine selected?

one of the top pvper in my guild is a
carbineer/swordsman/master brawler/novice med....
He's part of our little elite team... Of course, he's equiped with powerfull carbines, swords, stun armor, the best food, the best buffs, the best drinks and he never changed class since last summer. Not many people are able to defeat him in duels and some of the most powerfull jedis on the server will have a hard time defeating him.
Remember folks.... jedis have no actual pvp skills... you don't gain combat skills by grinding all the professions, you become a good pvper by pvping

I tried it, but the bad part is that you can't center with the carbine in your hand, you can center with your sword in hand, then switch to the carbine, then you'd have 30 seconds or so of carbine mischief. Not too sure about it though, if anyone wants to clarify.
