Thread: Is Action Shot 2 Broken?

Though you will not see a posture change animation, creatures DO get posture changed. It stops them from moving for the durration of the posture change.
Action Shot 2 works just fine. More than likely, you get the combat spam due to the fact that you hit multiple targets but did not successfully posture change ALL of them. Though the shot will more than likely HIT everything in the cone, it is not guaranteed to posture change everything it hits. Also, if you use it multiple times, say against 3 targets, and posture change one of them on the first shot, and the other two on the second, both times it will say that you failed to change your target's posture. That is because it will also say that if you hit a target that has allready been posture changed (due to the 30 second rule). You may not be noticing it, but watch your targets. If they stop running, then it was successful.

I get a posture down every once in a great while... Its supposed to be AoE/Cone, but it seems to be Not "Hit Every Target" but "Hit random target in cone." I'll have to re-read the FAQ to be sure if it is supposed to be like this. FAA1 seems to hit everything in the cone, though.
Do you think that it could still be working and that "failure to change posture" message is just a bug? I'll test it out and read the faq, just thought you may have seen that before.

I couldn't find it in the FAQ's.....

OK thanks.I'll read the FAQ. I always forget to. What does AoE mean exactly? I'm guessing "Area of (something)". Thanks.
I've never gotten anything else from a creature than a "you have failed to change your targets posture"-message so I figured it was ok and a feature, must have not been paying enough attention.
