Let me first say i am not selling anything here, just looking for an opinion on a
laser Carbine I crafted this morning. It's fitted with a Form-Fitted Weapon Stock.
How valuable would a carbine like this be to a carbineer?
Not really looking for a money value(though feel free to give a$value)more of a Very valuable or just ok kind of response.
Laser Carbine Scoped fitted with a form fitted weapon Stock.
67-310 Damage
2.9 Speed
+46 at Ideal Range
Unsliced - No Pup

I would like to see an Adv. Scope on there to get the Ideal Range up near +70.
The damage and speed look good but of course would love to see Krayt Tissue in there as all mine have.....
On Chilastra the Imp Stock is about 250k so this would be a 300k weapon, which is good for sure. The nice thing about the Imp Stocks is that with a damage slice you can sell to a BH and a speed slice a Carbineer will love it. If I couldn't afford Krayt Carbines, this is how I would want them made for sure

I thought about using an advanced scope, but decided to keep the HAM low, not sure if I really needed to do that.
Good info on slicing as well, nice to know that whatever type of slice I get there will be a potential market for the weapon.

I think you will find that more people want the extra Ideal Range, helps to stick States and hit in general, vs. low HAM since Doc buffs and Chef buffs are so common.

The value of that carbine is merely:
value of laser carbine on your server + value of form fitting stock on your server= value on your server
The only thing that would make that extremely valuable would be an extremely good slice.

I understand.
Actually the value(non-monetary) of the carbine to a Carbineer was more important then the credit value to me.
I prefer to make a weapon thats gonna be as useful as possible to the profession that uses it.
Thanks for all the help guys, back to the lab.......

I agree with TA. My state of mind is that even with decent HAM costs on a carbine, they are STILL to high to use unbuffed. With that in mind, I allways disregard HAM costs on the weapon, and go for better range mods. When I fight unbuffed, I used to fall back on my fencer skills, but now I fall back on pistols. Carbines are just too high of a cost to use. So go with the Adv. Scope experimented on range mods.
I think that if that is your standard carbine + FF stock, if you throw some nice tissues in there, and an Advanced Scope, you will have a VERY nice carbine on your hands. I just hope you kept the same mats you used hehe. Keep in mind, the speed you are looking to hit to appeal to a non-BH carbineer with +25 in speed SEAs is 2.7. You're very close to that, and tissues will get you there with ease.

I was talking more along the mindset of PvP, where it's not very practical to use a DH17 for damage (or an EE3 for that matter lol). Nor is it practical to not be using specials for every attack, unless you don't want to kill them lol. I suppose I should also note that I have all stats at 400 other than mind, which makes it even harder unbuffed. I have sacrificed being a well rounded PvP/PvE fighter for an all out PvP setup. In the "old days", I could hunt unbuffed, bu tnot anymore.

ActuallyI have numerous examples in PvP where I basically am AFK but kill my opponent.....gotta love DEFENSE and an auto-firing Krayt Enhanced E11
Or I fire 2-3 Specials then /heal self....rinse repeat
