I am relatively new to carbines (BH 1200 as well as some lower carbineer skills). I read a post recently that indicated that knockdowns of all types last 30 seconds. However, I typically spam underhandshot1 to KD squills and NPCs. I noticed that once knocked down, they pop back up pretty quickly. Is this the knockup bug I read about?

Given that I don't have thebetter carbine specials yet, should I just be using one underhandshot1 and then change to overcharge shot? I don't care about the life of the weapon so I don't mind using specials when I can.

The KD Timer is 5 seconds.....Immunity Timer is 30 seconds and both start once the KD lands, not when you first fire the shot.

The knockup bug is landing a second KD in the first 5 seconds....this is from spamming the shot which is VERY bad.

BTW, Posture Change shots have this same "reverse" bug too.

Think of it as a learning tool, teaching you NOT to spam so much.

Wow - learned my lesson! OK, so if I land one underhand shot that KDs, then he will be down for 5 seconds and then will be immune from KD for 30 sec, right?

And, as far as the knockup bug is concerned, if I hit with another underhand shot within the first 5 seconds, what happens? He pops right back up, right? What else is bad with it?

Thanks for the info guys.

LOL, now when you say spamming, is this the same as stacking the shots in the action window? That's what I do.

Some shots are spammable, but you better have a quick key to ClearCombatQueue
