Thread: Help a master carbineer.

Ive been a master carbineer, master combat medic, for over 5months now. And im thinking of dropping combat medic simply because i always consider myself a carbineer before a combat medic, also my ranged healing abilites don't seem to benefit people that much considering most have novice medic use stim b's buffed food psg armor, etc etc.(pvp) And when i do use my poisons everyone hates me and calls me unfair. So i am thinking of droppping medic and picking up some bounty hunter carbine skills simply to enhance my already carbine skills. How far do i have to go up through bounty carbs to max out on speed/accuracy or at least have a good fighting chance. Oh and mcm/ m carbs. Defenses is a joke so i was thinking of picking up some fencing for "state protection."

However the "area" knockdowns, state control, poisoning, healing has been fun. Is it time to move on, so i will be able to stand longer in a fight? Any criticism positive or negative is appreciated.

I was a Carbineer/CM for a while, I found it somewhat less satisfying to beat someone in a fight after poisoning them. Carbineer/BHx4xx however is much more fun, I would suggest you try it out. There are other templates out there that offer better defences or other abilities but this is the carbineer template for the purist carbineer and offers an awesome offensive ability. Its always fun when ppl duel you and lose in seconds then ask how the hell you did it because they think carbineers are no good at PvP.

You need to get to BH Carbs 3 in order to reach +100 Carbine Speed.


You can only get 0-4-3-0 or 0-3-4-0 Fencer, so picking up Pistol Techniques 4 will be more efficient SP wise.


Pick up Novice Brawler for Intimidation, which will help you out A LOT. It cuts their damage in half and negates COB.


Put the rest of your points in Medic, so you can heal yourself if things get iffy.
