Here's a story that will prove to you I have no pride (or I wouldn't post it) . . .
Purchased two AV21 speeders the other night. How? Well, I offered to purchase one at buyout on trade forums but, when someone else offered more, I withdrew my offer (thought I was doing a nice favor to the seller). Turns out the higher offer was bogus and the seller came back to me and said I had the winning valid offer since I had offered buy out. Hard to disagree, so I did the honorable thing and purchased the speeder. However, in the mean time, I had already purchased another AV21. So, I ended up with two AVs. I was just planning on selling the second one.
Here's the naive part. I went out and was running some rebel missions for fun later that evening. A guy (with a girls name) came up to me during a mission and asked me if I could help him out. I asked what he needed and he said he would like to test out his weapons against my armor (the new wookie armor). Since I had three sets of it, I didn't mind a little extra damage to one set, so I said sure. Big warning signs should be going off in your heard right now lol.
Well, when we duelled, he hit me a couple times, ran over my AV21 . . . . and proceeded to disable it. A few million credits down the drain.
I'm a bit older than most in the game and wasn't mad at this guy - just dismayed at how he could get any enjoyment out of this. Actually, I do know because some teenagers do stupid stuff like this in real life - he probably blows up peoples mailboxes when not playing the game.
Moral of the story: Live and learn.
Sorry for the off-topic post.

Oh yeah, I heard "pwned" a bit - and he offered to send me a clip. I told him congrats - got his one opportunity. I also told him there wouldn't be another lol.

I did, kind of. I contacted an out of game CSR who told me that, while he couldn't discuss in-game behavior, it would appear that there is nothing really wrong with what this guy did. I accepted the duel and, therefore, I was at least partially responsible for the outcome. I didn't bother discussing this with in game GM because I frankly got tired of thinking about it. It is just a game, I don't care about the credits, and I had another AV21. I put him on ignore so I didn't have to listen to him ever again and just forgot about it (sort of lol).
Like I said, live and learn
