Thread: I think i finally decided on my template

OK im a squad leader so just know that i need that and that requires a lot of points
Master Carbineer
BH 0300 (realized that last box isnt really that necessary)
Master Marksman
Scout 4024(this give me requirements for Squad leader and some extra harvesting ability for harvesting contracts)
SL 3043 (gives me basically everything worth getting in squad leader)
so what do you guys think?

yeah i would like to but SL stretches you really thin for skill points. this template puts me at exactly 0 points left lol

No way I would go BH 0300 and Scout 4024 over BH 0400 and Scout 4014. The difference is probably like 2 extra hide,meat,bone. If you do any PvP, confusion shot is worth it.
Matter of fact, I'd just go Scout 4004 and go BH 0400 and the rest in Squad Leader.
The effects of creature harvesting are minimal.

Nova's right. Your original template would weaken your Carbine skills for the sake of a very, very small improvement in harvesting. Since you're taking Squad Leader, I'm assuming you intend to provide good stat support as well as fire support with your Carbines. Improving your Carbine skills would be far better than a small bonus to harvesting.

well thats weird because i have harvested with and without hunting trained and it is a huge difference in amounts when you get to higher level harvesting like rancor meat. Meanwhile the extra box of BH carbines gives me a pointless extra 10 speed and a somewhat useful extra 10 accuracy but i already have 180 without it. I dont use confusion shot and it sounds like i should be but ive noticed high ham costs when i used it. I dont know ill go look it up in the sticky. Meanwhile there is no other worthwile box of SL to pick up really except maybe tactics 4
