Thread: BH needs some advice from Carb vets...

Hello all you Carbineers out there. I'm a BH and I'm bent on mastering BH but Idon't know if I want to go Master Pistoleer like every other bounty hunter in the galaxy. So, ran through a few templates and I was just wanting some cats with more Carbineer experience than myself to give me some advice and pointers.
MBH
Carbineer 4,4,0,4
Pistoleer 0,0,4,3
The only problems I have with this template is that the MBH/MP template has all those defenses. I don't know if those defenses are necessary. I guess thats what I want you guys to tell me. Thanks for any advice, please no flames.

carbineer is better than pistoleer if capped hands down. defense help yep, but some food will do the trick (mostly def v kd is what is the most troublesome)

the counter attack line in carbineer is only usefull if you are holding a carbine, and the block line only good if you are holding the pistol
you are better off to stick to mastering one or the other
pistoleer has the defence advantages while carbineer has the offence advantages

with BH carbines line, you don't need to go for carbineer 4xxx at 2xxx you cap the speed and 3xxx gets you the scatter 2 special, so 4xxx is a waste of skill points.
I'll give you my template that has decent defenses, very high offense, PvP's really cool with that, end you end up with 10 skill points left
BH 0440
Carbineer 3440
pistoleer 0044
Rifleman 0004
now if you want to go hunt jedis, you can do this
BH 3440 (don't bother with the LLC in PvP)
Carbineer 2440 or 3430
Pistoleer 0044
Rifleman 0004
both can give you decent defenses and very good offense.

Just had a thought. Why isn't the accuracy while moving tree under Carbineer worth getting?

We of course like it but just don't have the proof that it makes that much of a difference.
And my thoughts on that template are about the same, but less Carbineer and take some Rifleman to get more Ranged Defense. Now granted the isn't enough Melee or Ranged to make a HUGE difference, but dropping XX4X Carbineer for X4XX Rifleman makes a ton of sense to me

with the non-jedi hunter template I listed, you can climb up carbineer 3442 to get an extra +10 acc while moving tho

I'm almost MBH/M.Carbs (master carbs/2444 bh atm) and i love it.
Just one question, which is the most POWERFUL shot to use with the MasterBH/M.Carbs template? is it still Cripple shot?

im not very experienced with carbines but with the fun im having with just levelling bh carbs again i knew i was going mbh m carbineer something in pistoleer hehe.
what is better burst shot or cripplingshot? i havent used either before so i dont know exactly how fast they shoot.

The Special STICKY thread will give you lots of details as will the FAQ for general info....
BurstShot1 and CripplingShot are identical DPS until you Speed Cap and then CripplingShot is king....FullAutoSingle2 is the best before you Speed Cap.
