Thread: PvP Guide Anywhere?

I checked the FAQ but it's not exactly what I'm looking for.
I want damage modifiers, delay mods, etc on every special we have.
I want to know the ones that work perfect, and the ones that don't work very well.
What's the best single-target attack? Area-target? Doctor attack?
Seems I've been preferring Scatter over Cripple because it tends to damage the mind more and one Stim B from a Novice Medic can ruin my last 15 seconds worth of damage.
As far as weapons go, seems my Laser is doing the best overall. What's the stats on generic weapons (yes I saw the FAQ). Good weapons. High-end weapons. "ub3r" weapons. Say, the Elite, EE3, DH17 (no AP hurts), Laser, etc?
I've been all sorts of ranged profs and more lately I've been favoring melee but I love carbines (sick specials), I just need a bit more practice. Sounds like I'm rambling, and I probably am, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Special STICKY post has that info....and is in the FAQ 
Unfortunately there isn't a PvP Guide in this forum.....there are many combinations to improve on Carbineer in PvP.

It's really not so cut and dry but I'd say
a) Cripplingshot
b) Fullautoarea2
c) Fullautosingle2

At the speedcap cripplingshot can be devestating. Scattershot2 is very nice also.

The DXR6 is considered the goto gun in PVP by most. It has AP1, a tight damage range and acid damage. The laser is IMO better for opponents without ranged mitgation. Of note, it also has AP2.I would consider any Elite, EE3 or DXR6 over 500 dam. to be "uber". Lasers over 700.

Very good stuff.....only thing to add is IMO defenses are necessary to stay alive long enough to win.....
Too bad you can't get any reasonable defenses from Carbineer yet....lets hope sooner than later

Well then, that could most certainly be part of the problem.
Krayt DXR6 - 250ish max
Laser - 430ish max
Seems I could use an upgrade... guess I better start spending these millions.

We talked awhile back in the hunter chat on Shadowfire, and I think that I could help you out quite a bit, and definitely your wallet.
If your Krayt laser is 477 at max end, your weaponsmith is doing something wrong. (as the majority of the WS's on shadowfire do.)

I'm not completely positive, but I think with a 33/15 powerup my main carbines go like so :
DXR6 :: 4.2 217-373 +70 ideal
Laser :: 4.0 167-533 +69 ideal
Elite :: 4.1 193-297 +67 ideal
EE3 :: 2.4 113-231 +20 ideal
The EE3 is old, from before I had the BH carbines line, but the others I got a few days ago, 5 of each at 5k per, and got them all sliced. Those were the best results, theyre all non-krayted and none got over a 29% damage slice. That DXR6 is probably my favorite, it's insane for Rancor hunting.

Oh, just to pimp the smith who made those, because he more than deserves it for those results non-krayted : Cyrus. He's having a closeout sale and all his carbines are 5k each, buy 'em while theyre hot if you're on Lowca, because he makes probably the best non-krayt carbs on the server if you can speedcap them or get good slices.
