Hey all,
First I would like to say the game is awsome. My questions are stupid I bet but o-well.
I am a Carbiner person, I have got half way to level IV carbines I use a really good laser carbine. My friend got me some awsome armor and the carbine of course. I wandered my way into the hospital area and it asked if I wanted to become a medic so I said sure. Is this a stupid idea? Carbine/medic is that a good mixture.
Any help would be great.

There's quite a few people that pic up Novice Medic so they can use Stimpack B's, which really helps when you don't have a medic with you. If you plan on going Master Medic, then that's cool too. Do what you want to do and it'll all be fine
. Besides, if you don't like it, you can always drop it later.

I just got it because the trainer had that option. I don't really know whats best I know I like the carbine thing and i've invested a lot of time into doing it. Problem is at first the rebel missions were hard now they arent i've done so many of them they arent boring. I really guess I'm lost as to what im suppost to be doing.

If you group with other players you can get harder missions. Also you can go to one of the adventure planets if you really want to die...umm I mean a challange. Yavin 4 , Endor, Dantoine and Dathimore all have more difficult missions. Your mission difficulty is based on the strength of your group with the wepons they have equipt so make sure you have that Laser in your hand when selecting missions. As for picking up Medic, I'd say it's definatley a good idea. As a new player you should feel free to experiment in whatever professions you think sound interesting. If you don't find it fun you simply surrender the skill and get the points back. Welcome to SWG and good luck.

What you need to get are Stimpack A's or B's. At Novice medic you have a medical use rating of 5. If you examine the packs you bought it will tell you the medical use rating required. The higher the rating the better the heal but also the more skill required to use it. I'm sure you can find out all about this and more medical questions on the Medic or Doctor boards.

GOD YES!
Carbineers have horrible defenses. You simply CANNOT sit and take damage from ANYTHING. I say one of the most important things is getting to Pharm IV while you still have the stimpacks to help you with grinding carbineer. You can drop down to Pharm III or even novice medic after that.
