Thread: Can you guys pls answer some of my questions

Well I'm a bit nooby to carbines and alll blaster cause i've been a tka and fencer for almost the whole game now. My question is, wha exactly is DPS and SAC or w/e you call it.

DPS= Damage per second. The calculated estimate of the damage you will do to a target per second. The numbers on the weapons are only guidelines. A low sac weapon tends to have a low dps number but when you can use all of your heavy high end specials a lot more...you end up doing more dps because of your damage modifiers being higher.

SAC= Special Action Cost. The level of action the weapon will take when you shoot specials, also depends on wich special you use slightly.

Those terms apply to all profs, not just ranged
