Yeah theyre removing DoTs on weapons for the CU....i think its a good idea...........anyway, since when did a blaster bolt poison anyone in the first place? heh. anyway i think getting rid of those damn Dotted weapons is a good thing. (although itd be hard to say bye to my 420 fire dot carbine) i'd rather not see Weapons causing dots.

As far as I know, all professions were keeping their Health/Action/Mind shots ect, when I was last on TC-Ep3 and checked the boxes. But they may have changed them since then. If not, then you ought to be complaining, Action Shot 2 is a very important ability to Carbineer

The bleed shots are totally gone (except Fencer)....LegShot (never had or willhave a bleed)remains but ActionShot (bleed shot removed in CU)does not.....only Fencer gets Bleed Specials and only Commando gets DoT Weapons.


And those Specials you think are targetting Health/Action/Mind are all hitting Health but just a specific physical location on the target....ie taking advantage of somebody not wearing full armor type of thing.


I suggest you recheck those boxes you were looking at because you have gotten mis-information on both things you proposed here


BTW, thisthread was about DoT weapons, not Abilities, but I hope this clears this issue up for everybody here.

Ahem, according to Blixev (I think it was) the incredibly badly named "alliance disruptor" is supposed to be a DOT-pistol for Combat Medics. (of course, we got the pre-req moved from Pistols to Ranged Support so no-one knows what will happen to the disruptor ATM.)





Ah yes, sorry I forgot that CM will still have some DoT abilities/weapons.....I guess I was hoping those darn CM's wouldn't be DoT'ing me anymore

BH does have a bleed shot. I don't know if it works or how effective it is, but it does the same state affect below the target HAM bars as the fencer bleed.

Why is this bumped....Dot weapons dont have anything to do with bh's special attacks.
