Well what do you mean by good loot..?

If your looking for sompthing to make money on by selling i dont think you will find to many "high end" loot items on anything you can kill. Either group with someone that is lvl 80 or you have to settle for some less than high end loot. But you can still get some good stuff if you go for the right things. If i were you...dident have much to work with and wanted some high end stuff...Id try to make the money to buy the things i could not kill and earn myself. I think your best bet is going for NPC chars rather than animals. If your in a faction take lots of faction missions so you get npc's your level. Work on finding the best way to use the skills you have to your advantage. Get a faction pet..a bit more firepower never hurts. And maby even a droid....Should make realy short work of the missions. You can then max out your faction rank if not already so as to earn more faction points per kill etc. If you dont want any of the faction perks im sure you can sell your faction points for credits if you find the right smugglers...thing going rate is about 100 credits per fp...but dont quote me. Also killing npc's you will get a few Attachments....Probably none over +5 but still...the right mods can sell for a few hundred k perhaps...if you dont use them yourself. Also you will probably find a few holocrons...Jedi like these. Can sell em off....going rate is hard to say. Depending on how much you work on it and luck in genral, in time you should be able to buy what you realy want just gotta be creative.
