If Xandor's numbers are correct, then FAS2 is better than BurstShot, if you dont care about HAM costs.

FAS2 = 5.5/1.7 = 3.235

BurstShot = 6.0/2.0 = 3.0

This argument is quite funny. Lets stop the opinions and look at the facts....

The comments from us "regulars" will tell you that the TWO shots you need to level to Master are FullAutoSingle2 and BurstShot1, both gotten by 0010. The reason we say TWO is that FAS2 is the max DPS special before the Speed Cap. BurstShot1 and CrippleShot are close behind at slightly less than 8% lower. The reason BurstShot1 is brought up is when looking at DPS/HAM Cost it is the best shot, not FAS2.

So the facts are use FAS2 buffed and BurstShot1 when not buffed. Once you get higher into Carbineer and have a tank, then look to the AoE attacks of FullAutoArea2 and BurstShot2. Oh and don't forget ChargeShot1/2

I say the problem with fas2 is that it has way to much ham cost

Im a novice carbineer but by the looks i thing burstshot is a lot better thanx fas2

I might not have the nuts and screws like these master carbineers but u cant get much worst on ham cost than fas2

Thats just me i have a composite suit and it sucks because i always dont have my stims with me or i dont have enough muon or brandy to capp out my mind!!!!

But i do know one thing and thats that burstshot is a lot better thanx fas2

so pretty much burstshot 1 is better than FS2 due to the fact that it does more damage and is much easier on HAM....when you compare specials, dont compare them when you are buffed
