Carbines have always equated to me like a sub-machine gun. In other words, accurate at close range preatty bad at range with medium stopping power. In this game it seems that Carbines are meant to be slow, longer range medium stopping power. Anyway, the reason I was thinking about this was I was watching the Clone Wars micro-series on Cartoon network. The clone troopers were all using carbines and they were firing off MASSIVE amounts of fire. Granted it missed quite a bit, but the point is that a whole lot of fire was being produced. I also thought about the specials. We have specials called Burst fire and Full auto fire. I don't see either other ranged profession with the implication of that kind of fire.
Now comes to my ultimate point. Carbineers were aiming for a middle ground speed attribute but I think that its within reason to ask to be the fastest ranged proff in the game. At the cost of accuracy. What do you all think?
