I have heard that the carbineer profession is pretty gimped from a few people but I wanted to know from a direct source, also how good is PvP with Carbineer?

no stun carbine basically ruins pvp for carbineer
even if u dizzy/kd them
u only do like 150-200 damage max

Invest alot of money in skill tapes and good carbines and carbineers are fine. Still suffer from having no stun weapon though.

Groups with master carbineers seem to perform better with them than without them. We're the "crowd" controllers. I use a lot of chargeshot2 and suppression2 and actionshot2 to KD or posture down whole groups. Watching 4 rebels fall on their ass after one chargeshot2 almost made up for the total lack of defenses...

Although I fully agree that having the oportunity to KD a whole crowd is wonderfull, your statement that you have no defenses is really funny. I was a master BH for a while, now those guys have no defenses!
I'm now a carboneer and compared to what I was used to I'm in Disneyland! And now I have all those extra points left over to do medic, swordsman, carboneer, pistoleer, scout Muhahahahahaha! I know you cant stack over 125 now, but when I am done I will have some killer defenses along with some nice medic skills and good offense.
