Thread: Novice Carbineer or Advance Up The BH Carbine Tree? Which Is Best?
If you had to choose, would you take the Action Shot 2 & FullAutoSingle 2 of Novice Carbineer or go up the BH Carbine tree instead?
To me, the BH carbine tree doesn't get good until hundreds of thousands of points, when you get Fire KD.
But the Elite Carbine of Novice Carbineer sucks.
What do you all think?

I sorta did both. I now have BH Carbine 4, plus Carbineer 2-3-1-2 (from memory).
I get +90 speed, and +135 accuracy for carbines (there's a cap at +100, right?). Anyway, I can fire the little 3.8 speedcarbine I have like a pistol, one shot per second, and I never miss. Very handy. Even specials come out so fast I have to start healing myself after only a few seconds of combat.
You know you're getting near the top of the trees when the powerups you want are all for heal/action/mind reductions, instead of damage or speed 
I'm also a medic 2-0-4-0, so I can use experimented Stim Ds. I'm now stat migrating to increase my mind, since I can heal the others.
