I am new at stat migration. I have only used it once before, and that was so i could wear a suit of Ubese armor.

What I want to know is what is the best stat setup for carbiner, without taking into account for stat buffs like spice.

Bria- Master Medic / Master Brawler / TKM ~(Hero of Tatooine)~

Scylla- Carbineer / TK ~(Hero of Tatooine)~

Tempest- Master Doctor / TKM

I'm a Zabrak Carbineer, I maxed my secondary stats to make up for the high HAM costs. if ur gonna wear armor and be a carbineer, max these stats and lower ur health or mind. Dont try to lower your action pool hardly, you'll need it, Trust me!

I wouldn't recomend maxing secondary stats but definatly boost them. Problem with takeing out of the mind pool is that vs. riflemen you will go down quicker. Granted a composite helm is going to take a lot off the top but what will get through still feeds off the mind pool.

Personally I buffed my secondary stats just enough to double the ham encumbrance so that if I get wounded up to half I can still use composit, more than that then I should be heading to town for healing anyway.

Got Rads? - FULCRUM POWER
- Coronet, Corellia at -172 -5555
- Kaadara, Naboo at 5668 6235
- Bestine, Tatooine at -586 -4165

My approach was alittle different, as I mention in another post (recapped here).

I'm pushing stats into my mind from the others, especially the secondary stats, because:

  • Some of my specials use a lot of everything, including mind, and

  • Healing uses mind (I can use experimented Stim Ds), and I can heal myself during combat (a must, really), so the more times I can heal, the longer I live.

Secondary stats do not offer as much improvement as you think. I tested this by decreasing my Quickness from 550 (Human max) to 400 (Human min) and I think the change for firing Legshot2 was like 8. I cant remember but I started a post on this. 150 points offers a really minimal change.

Stat migration is really faster than you think if you just change 1 stat at a time (lower one and raise one). It will be done in 24 hours. Change and test.

I completely agree with HeDrums. You cannot use a carbine w/o medic skills. So mind regeneration becomes a must. I have my primary stats almostmaximized, the secondary ones that effect HAM cost minimized and a bit extra in the recharge on the stats.

If you really want to lower your HAM costs, find a chef and buy some Breath of Heaven drinks...they REALLY are. I love these things. They increase all 3 secondary stats that effect HAM costs (I think thats Str, Quickness and Willpower) not the regen stats by adding around 250-300 into EACH for around 400 seconds. That's enough time to bust up a lair and it really drops your HAM costs.

if you are a trandoshan, as your icon suggests, max your stamina, and just set your quickness at whatever level it needs to be to wear your armor, its not very important (or so it seems so far)
