Any ideas on interesting templates for hybrids? I thought Mcarb/Mdef/Enhancer 4000, get forcerun, forcespeed (selfbuff), 1000 ranged/melee defense with food/aura, and 7000 rating build in armor.

Pre Publish19 i woud say Healer 4-0-0-0 + some ranged stuff ftw. Post pub19 ... who knows yet.

Only problem with that would be not being able to use force skills while wearing even one bit of armour.

Hybrid templates seem to work pretty well, actually. A guildmate has a Rifleman/Jedi hybrid which is pretty kick ass. Not sure about the exact template, but I know it includes healer 4xxx and defender xx4x at least. Combine that with the damage from a rifle, and ouch.

I mean Mdefender would give you 70 innate armor, which means its like wearing 7000 rating armor.

Sorry, when i read the post I thought you meant you were wanting to use armour with a 7000 rating, not using jedi innate armour rating.

I'm interested in this myself. I'll be a jedi in 6 weeks but do not plan on ever having a full template.

I just messed around with a character builder and thought of this...

Master Carbineer
Master Defender
0420 Medic or 0240

I would get the innate armor, a ton of defense, and I would be able to heal using medic. Bacta shot at my current state is hitting for around 1100 and I am only 2000 combat medic. It has a 6 second delay... I'll be able to test out how effective it is without any combat medic, but I am guessing probably around 700-900 or so. That will be great... I'll be able to heal for 1400-1800 every 12 seconds which is relative to a healer healing at 1500 every 15 seconds...

Akiwoodoh is currently Master Carb / Master Def / 4000 healer.

He can solo an entire lair with full auto. I can actually charge people to grind with me the xp is so fast for them.

He can solo krayts up to ancients. Ancients I run out of force before I can kill them.

And he's gone 41 and 0 against bounty hunters. (only deaths have been AFK or my very first bounty hunter before I took up carbineer)

Bounty hunters have told me I'm harder to kill than even full template jedi. So, yes, it's a very very strong template.

Well after playing post-pub 19 with healing cooldowns,armor break and elemental fixes the advantages of jedi is soley in thier new awesome offense ablities with lightsaber.
