Greetings all,

I finally finished grinding out my template. I hope I picked a decent one, MBH/MCarbs/CM 4000. My current carbine is a E11 Mark 2 with 490-967 SAC 85. I really want a low sac higher dmg carbine but tissues are the issue then. My question is I am totally lost when it comes to clothing and armor attachments and skill tapes? What should I be looking for Carbine Speed or Carbine accuracy or something else? Also I have heard some talk about BE shirts that have skill mods? Any ideas on where I should look or ideas for contacting a BE tailor on Bria? Also is the total on all skill mods combined only allowed to be 25 or can we have 25 in carbine accuracy and 25 in carbine speed? I am also looking for a good weaponsmith on Bria to order a good carbine once I get some nice tissues. Any advice or help will be appreciatted.

Well, I am trying to find out from the Carbineer experts out there, what skill mods they think are most important? Carbine accuracy, Carbine Speed, General Accuracy, etc.

Grab some carbine speed. You probably won't need General Ranged Speed as well, since you're already quite fast with MBH. As for accuracy, well, you could always use more of that, so I'd grab both Carbine Accuracy and General Ranged Accuracy if you can afford it.

Carbine Defense tapes work just like you think they would. They will give you additional ranged and melee defense when holding a carbine. If you're strapped for cash, I'd suggest you get some if your defenses are below ~250ish. If you already have that kind of defense, you can probably get by without it and just save for the ADK.

Your template was: MBH / M.Carbineer / Combat Medic 4000

Your defenses are decent and your total Carbine Speed (General Ranged Speed + Carbine Speed) is still high.

The biggest weakness I see in this template is accuracy. It is still decent for dabbling in CM, but if you can increase your General Ranged and / or Carbine Accuracy Mod(s), then you will round this template off VERY well.

Do this, and you will have decent defense, healing, and with better accuracy: be able to hit harder and more often.

The one catch with having a MBH based template is that your Accuracy isn't as high as it could ever be. The most you will see with MBH in Gen.Ranged Accuracy is roughly +215.

My template I had before: M.Marksman / M.Rifleman / M.Carbineer / Pistoleer 3404, yielded +260 from Gen.Ranged Accuracy alone. I used to have MBH / M.Carbineer / Pistoleer 0404 before that, and the damage output is higher with the M.Marksman based template from what I've noticed. But the sacrifice is less defense compared to MBH's.

One last note with your total ranged accuracy with a certain weapon:
Total Gen.Ranged Accuracy + Weapon Specific Accuracy Mod = Your Total Accuracy with that weapon equipped.

My best advice would be to go to the trade forums for ur galaxy and post the same thing. BEs and WSs will see and should reply since thats where most of them hang out neways

I'll post in this thread as oppose to making a new one. I'm currently Master Carbineer/Combat Medic, if I purchase a +25 carbine speed CA/AA will I see much of an improvement with reduced cool down timers or is it not worth it/broken?

Yes, it will help in your rate of fire in general with a carbine.

I also suggest this: If possible, have the attachment as a General Ranged Speed attachment. Reason being that a General Ranged Mod can apply to any ranged weapon type. Should you, Emperor forbid, decide to *drop* Carbineer and take up some other ranged profession, then the attachment will still be good.

But General Ranged attachments of course run up alot of money.

My template too! I love it for PvE, but I haven't tried PvP yet.

Below is my current attributes and Skill mods know. If you can suggest what foods, CA's and AA's I should look for to build up my lower mods. I would appreciatte it. So far I am told to go accuracy. Since he said that I figured I would post my mods here, hoping for further advice.

Attributes:

Health: 2790

Offense: Speed: 105

Accuracy:225

Defense: Melee: 209

Ranged: 230

My Skill Mods:

Carbine Accuracy: +65

Carbine Defense: +45

Carbine Speed: +50

General Ranged Accuracy: +160

General Ranged Speed: +105

Melee Defense: 165/....

Alot of this is greek to me. I am not sure what scores I should be trying to get in each field to be effective in PvP combat. Any help will be appreciatted.

Your General Ranged Speed is off, it should be +55. Add that to your Carbine Speed, and the total would really be +105.

If you can, get attachments to increase your Accuracy. General Ranged Accuracy is optimal since it will work for all ranged weapons, but they run alot of money. Good Carbine Accuracy will still suffice. You need to hit harder to round out your template.

Increasing your speed will be a lower priority.

Crispic (a food) is also available to increase your Accuracy. I have some to give +40 accuracy for roughly 10 minutes.
