Thread: Help with Grievous Carbin

I have tried the trade forums, and NO ONE has given me an estimate to how much an unused Grievous Striker Carbine is worth. Could anyone of you please help me?

Depends on the server. Here on wanderhome ive seen 2 sell for 800k each

Only your server can answer that, just auction it and see like any other item......this forum is not the place for ANY trade forum questions, sorry.

But this IS the Carbineer boards, don't you think you could give the poor guy some stats to ponder over? There seems to be an abundance of idiocy on these boards, I'll tell ya what.if he was trying to sell/buy one from someone, thats one thing. You can't even give him damage type, base damage, DPS? anything? what the hell is the use of having a board for a weapon if the only time you get info on that weapon is by going to the trade board? I may be a newb, but at least I have some common sense about me.. don't make a post teling him to look elsewhere, he's in the right place to figure out about the gun--send him to the trade boards when he's ready to buy, not while he's investigating.. Not trying to start a rant, but I'm tired of seeing stupid comments on here. How about we help the newbs instead of running them in circles?
So, with that said...
anyone have a list of what Carbines are available in game now? names, average base damage/damage type, etc?
I noticed that one of my carbines can do 200 more damage than the one i use, yet has a lower DPS and actually seems weaker in battle compared to my Nym's Carbine. Can't say i understand why, but things like that are what make me wonder where a good list is for this stuff.(As I said, I am a newb, could use some pointers here and there)
If you can help, post a link or something of that sort. Thanx

Hold on a second there, the original poster did not ask for dps, range or stats of the grievance striker(not a typo thats its actual name) he asked for a prie estimate. now as you yourself so heavily pointed out this is the carbineer profession forums, price checks etc are supposed to go in the trade forums of your server. the reason for this is because as the forum for the profession across all server prices will differ. This is not a board that is dedicated to a weapon, the weapon is one small portion of the overall profession.

To me, zero credits. Comparably low damage and high SAC make this weapon useless.

It's a nice weapon for a collection but in all honesty it's a pretty weak MC weapon, the only advantage it has is the extra 10m range, the accuracy and melee defense aren't as useful as speed would have been.

true
the proton carbine(if your MBH) or the DC-15 carbine are both much better weapons.

I know this may come as a shock to some people, but sometimes I actually intentionally choose to use a weapon that isn't the OMGWTFPWNZOR best in my inventory. 
All the guns at our disposal have a purpose, even if you just choose to equip them and fight with them because they look good!
