I give little respect to those saying they are leaving when the Combat Upgrade goes LIVE. Not that I am disrespecting the person, but the fact remains that NOBODY, not even the Devs, have seen what this will look like in 1 month or 2-3 months. So the people saying they are leaving are making decisions NOT based on any facts available....but to each his own.
I think I might hang around after the CU

ok, this is a side note, but i was considering going carbineer w/my character that's TKM atm, but then i found out that carbineer isn't getting the proton carbine 
. So it's not likely at this time. And don't take this for the way it sounds (It does sound bad),.....................but i might go carbineer when they change everything the 2nd time around (or third...or 4th...or...).

Who said the Proton Carbine isn't coming to Carbineer? Whoever said that is blowing smoke up your backside
And I am not saying we ARE getting it either......it is just undecided at this point but we should know soon enough.

I was a carbineer once upon a time but never made it to master. This time I plan to go all the way. I have a feeling the CU will be kind to the profession

I am saying if you are taking this from what ANYBODY but a RED NAME said, well they are mistaken and don't have the facts. I know where it was cert'd 2 months ago, but certs are moving a lot right now....

Lasai has been a Master Carbineer since Nov 03. Yes, sad, it took from july to Nov to do it, but I've never been a grinder.
I owned the second or third Elite on Valcyn. I've never swayed from Carbines and Ranged in any way.
I'll stay Carbineer. Good or bad. I'll be a Carbineer when I log out for the last time, whenever that may be.

I am currently a Master Pistoleer/TKA and post-CU I will be mastering Carbineer. It looks to be getting some quality attention from the dev team. As far as not getting weapon certs, who cares? Just dabble to be able to use the weapons you want. With the changes being made, it seems to be encouraging that.
