when i did it, i did the whole thing at fort tusken and the squill cave. switching when one would be packed or boring.
saved up a lotta crystalslike that

The FAQ gives you info for skill progression/weapons/attacks/etc....other than that just kill stuff like any other combat prof.
And if you can, BH 0400 really helps too

I have found in the past few days on ahazi that the wepons depot on talus is bugged and is respawning at a insane amount. I would up racking 900kxp and 300k combat in less then a houor with tons of imp faction. Allyou do i use burst shot 2 (0030) and just click in the crowd and shoot.

You are aware that using a known bug to artificially enhance your toon (XP gain is most certainly one way) is an exploit and subject to punishment from SOE......

Also, the beach at Yavin is a very good spot. I have ground most of Carbineer there just killing random mob lairs.

Best place to grind anything imo!
As for the weps facility... it is not a bugged spawn like the geo's were, but it is a result of increased spawn timers. The NPC's there respawn about 3 mins after the corpse has been looted, and make sure you do loot them... they can drop some nice SEA's

get buffed, 80% kinetic armor, walk upto a lair and pointblank area 1 until everything dies once you have a ranged area attack find a bunch of small faction base's and let loose on the troops, only took me about 4-5 hours to master carbineer

First off I used Granades to grind up the last tree to get Full Auto Area. Then I found a location on my server (Bria) that is loaded with Rebel Forward Outposts. I lay the smackdown with Full Auto Area 2, throwing in an Action Shot 2 every now and then to knock a few down. The states help to lessen the damage you take from the 20 NPC's that will be attacking you. Since I am also doing BH, I run into the bases and jam the uplink terminal. Attacking these bases is an absolute blast!
