Thread: How this for a Carbine Template?

Iplayed a Carbineer BH before the CU and had mixed success, but (of course) post CU I've done much better. However, with the respecting still available, I've tried to work out the best possible template I can.
What I came up with is this:
Master Carbs
Master Pistoleer
BH 3000
Master Marksman
With this you get:
Full Lvl 80 Ham
Battle Armor (for mixed PvP and PvE)
Recon Armor (for energy damage)

Powerful Carbines (/wishes for a nice Proton)
The ability to Root Jedi for the longest amount of time (Adv. Stopping Shot)
I damage shot equal to Adv. Critical Shot (Leg Shot)
I high quality KD (Charge Shot)
I very good snare (Crippling Shot)
Damage Debuff (Intimidate Shot)
And most important, the ability to attack targets from 55m.
Master Marksman added, simply yields an easier respec and more General Speed and Accuracy than further Dabbling in BH.
This seems to fill alll the needs of a solo BH.

Master Pistoleer/BH 0-4-0-0
Master Marksman.
Ill subtract from pistoleer if I have to.

If you plan to hunt Jedi, a better idea would be MBH/MC Pistoleer xxx3 and whatever you wish with the remaining few SP. You will have better defenses and more 1v1 offensive shots from BH(Adv. Critical is brilliant). Also, the Proton is certed only for MBH, so unless you have that, no Proton for you Im afraid.
Pistoleer is good for CC, but it lacks in the damage department. MBH specials will make up for that, while still allowing you an Improved root, and you get the Dizzy/KD from BH pistols.

That line of BH is a total and complete waste, as I have said numerous times, a Master Carbineer gets absolutely zero benefit in the BH Carbs Line vs BH Pistols/Rifles Line. The mods in each box are the same and the Specials in the BH Carbs Line are all redundent, so pickup the Specials from Pistols/Rifles in BH.
