I have been looking at these forums becuase I am trying to grind through carbinier for holos and I found a post that was labeled best carbine xp ever. In there people were telling what creatures to hunt for the best xp, The thing I don't understand is the amounts of xp they were claiming that one would get. Like some guy said attacke hurtons you will get 35k xp per lair. Ok that makes sense to me. However other people were claiming to get over 100k of xp per lair. I just can't see that as possible. I am sorry but could someone please explain how you get that much from a lair. Also what are your opinions on the best xp for carbiniers that will help me get through it the fastest. Thanks for your help.

There is no way to get 100.000 Exp from one MISSION-Lair, (the mission is important) as there is nothing that spawns 20 creatures as a mission. (20 x 5000 (exp cap) = 100.000)
But if u can find a wild lair (something like "dead log", pile of bones" or so) and u milk it there is no problem to get up to 30-40 beasts out of it.

Say u find a wild huntress lair and u get 25 beasts out u will get about 115k exp in total (incl. lair)

Yes thank you that answered the first part of my question. It was not making sense at first because I did not know you could get that many creatures to come out of one lair. Now in your guys expert opinion what would be the best thing to go after that would help get through carbineer the quickest? Thanks for all your help.

I'm doing Quenker(sp?) missions on Dantooine. I use a Dewback or Gronda to tank and have at it. Payout is 6500-7000cr.

i did quenkers for a while, then i switched over to pikets. if you're grouped with something, most pikets give close to 4k xp (some a little over, some a little under). IF there are no babies at the lair, you'll get roughly 40k xp per lair, and 9k in credits. I'm a master doc also, so that may not be practical for you. You can always try pulling one critter at a time though, to limit your damage a bit.

Ok... I have YET to see this though... where is the best carbine xp, IF YOU ARE NOT A CH??? A level 10 pet doesn't hold up long against pickets, quenkers, hurrtons.... Let's get real, this forum is for CARBINEER, not "free weapon xp you can get while being a CH".

Life is tough. It's even tougher if you're stupid.

Well I was on Lok yesterday doing Mynock missions and I got about 4.5k xp per Mynock and a nest had about 10 of them. Nasty little buggers and if I had´nt been buffed I would have been dead before I killed more than 2-3 of them.

your right a level 10 does not, but if you leave the pet in town you still get the group bonus XP.

but this means you need to be buffed to survive.

I do have pets but I no longer hunt w/o buffs.

It's quite interesting to have 5 Graul Maulers (lvl 108 mission) hitting you at the same time while you spam thorugh your specials.

Group with an atst or someone who has one to group with you whilst you take missions and the lairs spawn more mobs.

Yes, I can't hunt anymore without buffs, unless I feel like shooting the newb stuff outside the cities.

I had a Force sensitive character, with 23 and a half boxes ground out.
I had a master creature handler.
I had a high lvl crafter character.
I had a Bounty Hunter that I hunted PC Jedi with.

My game is dead.

I can't say if it is the best or not since I am also trying to grind through Carbineer for a holo, but here is what I have been doing and I am getting a lot of experience.

I get buffed and head to dantooine. Pull out a droid and group it. Then tell it to stay and leave it there. Any droid will work, even a mouse droid. Then get Savage Quenker missions. I'm getting nearly 4k xp per kill and about 7k credits per mission. They are so easy to kill. I happen to also have master brawler so it is even easier. I pull them with bleed (which also puts them on their knees half the time), spam them with full auto single 2 until they get to me, kd, warcry2and spam full auto single 2 until they are dead. Sometimes I am too lazy to use warcry2 or it doesn't stick soI just let them beat on me. Most the time by the time they get to me they are over half dead. I rip through them so fast it is actually fun.

BTW, the reason for the droid is it gives me almost 1k more xp per kill.
