Thread: Question about Carbine Accuracy

Hiya...MBH here that chose to dump his extra 33 points into Carbineer.

I chose Marksmanship and Abilities trees. And let me say, if I ever change professions Im taking up Carbineer full time. Im loving this profession. Anyways, my question is about the Carbine Accuracy. Right now I have 140 accuracy. By tonight I should be at Marksmanship 3 for Cripple Shot which will put me at 155 accuracy. Now should I got up and get that last +25 accuracy to top out at 180 accuracy or should I hit up the last box in the abilities tree for ChargeShot2? Is there an accuracy cap like there is with the speed and if not will that extra 25 make a big difference in hit and miss with the monster dodge templates? And does ChargeShot2 work as well (except cone) as ChargeShot1 (no delay)?

I've been sort of contemplating this as well. I've changed my configuration somewhat, and now I'll only have 23 points to invest in Carbine, including the 6 for Novice. That basically works out to be 3 in a line and 1 in another line.


So I'm trying to decide if the best option is to go with 3 in the Abilities line and 1 in Marksmanship or vice versa. It's a question of whether to get Crippling Shot and Full Auto Area 1 or to instead get Charge Shot 2 and the ever-popular but completely useless Leg Shot 3.


Or maybe it'd be better to ignore Abilities and get Counterinsurgency instead for the Burst Shots. What do you think?
