Its not just RAW damage, its doing NO damage. You can keep someone KD'd with all the states for 60 seconds, slowly wearing them down just to have them heal it all with stims.
Master CM working on master carbineer. I went CM at release and played around with pistoleer (yuck) and dabbled in swordsman a bit. I settled on Carbineer mainly due to the decent damage and great support role it plays. Due to the crazy armor, HUGE buffs, and stim b's our healing abilities as a CM and damage output as a carbineer in PVPare almost not utilized. It's kinda hard to say what will be effective until after the combat revamp though.
If you want a purely offensive support template I would go CM for the heals/poisons/diseases and Carbineer for the great states/knockdowns. I've been having a blast with it and I am not planning to ever change my template (even with all of the present problems with PVP combat). Just wait for the combat revamp...I foresee this template being very powerful if played correctly.
