Good speed is entirely relative to the person using the weapon. You only need a weapon fast enough for you to get the maximum benefit. As far as laser carbines go for a standard unstocked, unkryated variant you are looking at around 3.5 With a advance stock you are gonna be near 4.0 Decent kryat tissue and an imp stock around 2.5

But as for the bad news. With just master carbineer using /crippleshot which tends to very favoured amoung our ranks, the carbine would need to be at 1.0 speed to maximize the benfit. And it is pretty hard to get a laser carbine down to that level.

I've got a speed sliced stock Laser Carbine with 2.5 speed that started life as a 3.5.

I imagine a Krayt Laser could conceivable reach the 2.0 mark without too much trouble.

You might be close to 1 sec Actual Firing Speed, but you aren't on the "slower" Specials. FAS2 is a "faster" Special and that you would fire at the 1.0 Speed Cap but CripplingShot would be at 1.3 sec.

That might not seem like alot, but I can fire 4 CripplingShots to 3 of yours.....I like my chances

But my Defenses kick in pretty good now with Pistoleer 0040
