I think I heard a dev say pistols could go down to one but rifles and carbines had a higher one.

1 second. Everyone is on the same timer for now. There's a recurring rumor about a 3 second Rifle cap being imposed, and the Pistoleers are still lobbying for a .5 second cap, to my knowledge.

I have a DH17 Carbine (Exceptional) with 1.2 speed, and thats without a speed slice. So I guess that everything is capped at 1.0, for now at least.

in order for weapons to cap at different speeds then the damage must be on a scale too(AP takin into account), in order to even out.

with the current state of weapon crafting this wouldn't be viable. unless they capped damage, but that would make 12 crafters and good resources useless.

I don't think it would be a good idea, but changing the way speed works, and the amount of speed that profs get would work.

I have an Enhanced E11 with a .9 native speed stat (damage sliced too )

When I drop a speed power up on it, it resets the speed to 1.

Looks like that's as much as they are letting us have.

Doesn't matter what the weapon speed is, all players are capped at 1.0 second delay time.

How about a better question, what's the maximum speed cap for any weapon? I would love to see someone firing at 30 seconds between shots lol.

My homemade DPS spreadsheet keeps spitting out .57 (I am not even master carbines/MBH yet too), so sad I can't take advantage of that, practically doubles my DPS .

Read the FAQ for goodness sake....

Not only do I list examples, but Eisman modified/cleaned up my spreadsheet where you can run ALL the numbers for yourself.....

I have an accuracy experimented stocked, scoped, non-krayt DXR-6 that came out of the crafting tool with a 5.5 speed. 20% speed sliced to 5.0
