Hey everyone..
I'm new to this forum,I decided to go carbineer recently when ifiguredI should have a ranged profession to complement my melee profession. I have only limited skill points remaining, enough for 2 branches in carbines and 0-3-0-0 in bounty hunter(bounty carbines). My friend and I decided 4-4-0-0 would be best, but if there were only two trees in carbines that you could use for pvp, what would they be? I appreciate any tips and look forward to playing as a carbineer.

Actually for PvPinstead of 0300 BH - 4400 Carbineer, why not go with0400 BH - 3400 Carbineer.
BH Carbines4 gives you 10 accuracy and 10 speed, plus confusion shot
Carbine Assualt Tactics 4 gives you 5 speed
So you would end up with 5 more speed, 10 more accuracy, plus an excellent dizzy for PvP.

Hm, I think either 0403 or maybe 0304 would be better if you want to utilize carbineer's crowd control aspects, Not sure how much speed you get that way, but if you had a bit of speed in attachments youd easily cap, area kd is just SO fun, its one of my faverote shots in the whole profession.

Marksmanship 4 is pretty much amust in PvP, since you can never have too much accuracy ... Assualt Tactics is helpful since it gives Scattershot which alot of carbineers swear by.
Counterinsurgency is alright, but i find that burstshot is much more suited to PvE.
With Special Abilities, the fullautoarea series and chargeshot would be helpful, but fireKD will work just as well, especially if you are tight on the skill points

I am a 3440 BH, Master Pistol, and 0440 Carbineer. I like this template since I get a high powered area attack, high powered single attack, and the defenses of carbine. Speed seems kinda pointless witht he BH line, and you only need a 3.5 or something to cap with no speed from carbineer. I am not much experienced in carbines but I would say go 0404 or 0440. I do pretty well in PvP with my template, and against jedi.

Defenses of carbine? We have defenses? 
AndI agree with wilibus here, 0400 BH - 3400 Carbineer on top of your Master Melee is best for solo PvP. For group PvP the Melee isn't needed if you want to use Carbineer as a support prof....so it all depends how you want to play.
