How come Carbineer is the only combat profession that doesn't get a new special when you master?

Every other combat profession gets a new special when you master, even Master Marksman gets one. Why areCarbineers the red headed step child?

no idea but I would guess it might be because we get a special at almost every box.

lol i was going to say that..... as a master pistoleer i can tell you having master specials doesn't mean anything if they don't work

No, they're all 2nd Versions of Previous Specials.

There was a thread about trying to choose a new Special at our master box, the teo really popular ideaswere to just move one of our many specials to the master box and something along the lines of /fullautosingle3, but the devs seem to not really care, so i wouldn't expect changes until the combat rebalance at Publish 42 or so, personally i feel /chargeshot2 should be moved to master, and /crippleshot should be at Markmanship 4.

As well not having a Master level special doesn't really effect anything other than dabbling, since a master special would just lower dabbling.

Point 1: Carbineer has more total Specials than any other profession.

Point 2: Top 5 issues sent to Devs deals with Master box among other things.

Point 3: Second version of previous Specials are quite different.....single target vs. AoE....pretty big deal there

Point 4: Carbineer has every Special working...LegShot3 is getting an update later on when other profs get Specials fixed.

Probably some more points to make, but about time to go to sleep

*hmmm and all this time i thought master smugglers never got anything when they get to master ...

sorry i'm biased seems how i was a smuggler longer than a carbineer
