My elite carbine is max 420 min 200. I'm BHer carb 4 also too so speed and accuracy are no problem. However I still can't cut through 80-90% composite armor even if I'm lucky enough to KD them.

My krayted enhanced E-11 carbine with form fitted stock and scope.

Forget range mods. But ham is "moderate" for a carbine. And the health dot helps. But AP 1 severely limits it use against armored (80% energy resist) targets. Go with a laser with a good speed slice and a min/max powerup.

That looks about standard for regular (no loot components) e-11's on Tarq. Get yourself a good krayt'd E11. I got mine for about 80k. Even p'up'd, the laser carbine suffers terribly. Did up the stats on mine, both post ~30% slice:

Krayt e11: sliced, i think on damage.
2.2 114-223 for a dps of 76.59 against ap1.

Morbus Laser Carb(the best non-loot laser carb i can find) with 30% speed slice
3.3 83-315 for a dps of 75.38 against ap1.


That's before damage mitigation. after mitigation, it's 61.73 for the e11, and 49 for the laser carb.

Pop a speed powerup on the krayt and you can hit 90dps against ap1 damage mitigation3.

Considering that the asking price for a decent krayt laser carb is 500k, i'd definitely use the krayt E11 for pvp, and save the laser for pve on medium and heavy armored targets.

Paladin: see my sig for a link to a program you can use to tell you what you're looking for. Running the stats you give through the program gives the following results against a target with 70% composite armor and Ranged Mitigation 3:

Laser Carbine default attack: 10.04 dps
Enhanced E11 default attack: 10.01 dps

Laser Carbine FullAutoSingle2: 21.67 dps
Enhanced E11 FullAutoSingle2: 30.00 dps

Laser Carbine CrippleShot: 20.09 dps
Enhanced E11 CrippleShot: 27.81 dps

This is assuming that you're a Master Carbineer with +60 Carbine Speed.

So your E11 is indeed better than a standard Laser Carbine in PVP, but as many have pointed out, it could be quite a bit better.

I picked up a krayt laser carbine last week and got a 32% damage slice on it. Don't remember HAM costs, but for the rest:

Speed: 3.4

Min: 109

Max: 514

W/O powerup.

Very nice, my DH17 Short Carbine is 107 DPS but only AP0, this Laser Carbine is 92 DPS...... As a non-BH Carbineer I personally would want a SPEED slice, but still a VERY nice Laser Carbine.
