Thread: I think i found my profession

I have been playing galaxies sinse the start of live . i didin't get into the beta oh well. I have tried every class well except the laser sword dealers blah.. and well i think i have finally found a place to call home. well in a sense. Carbaneer is quite an interesting class to me as we aren't the most powerful in the game but with a little thinking and forethought you can be quite powerful.
This is a lot more interesting to me then just mashing the same attacks over and over to destroy your appontent . man i can't spell I got bored with tka , refles made me want to vomit , swords was fun fencer was um boring pistol well they are broke for now, and commando well i burnt a lot of things, and bh well bh is nice with another profession but for some reason carbineer has been in the back of my mind nagging at me. Well i am now a carbineer still very new to the profession, i 'm tired of the whining of most of the forums, except the ranger one, it's one of the coolest forums on here you should go there if you have never been. Those people are really dedicated. I am hoping i picked the right class which hopefully will be more about strategy and knowledge instead of hey look at me i can mash buttons like crazy this is no challenge. I like a challenge. It was more fun when you went to a high level planet and had to think to survive.
I have no real idea why i am writing this prob just in hope that i have found a profession that i'll stick with which so far i really like it's nice not to have all the flammers and people whining in a forum reminds me of ranger forum. Just let me know now is this a thinking man's class or is it another spam a thon cause if i want a spam o thon i'll go tka , or rifle or by god the evil cm, i hate crafting hehe.
I hope this is the last class i master

Sounds like Carbineer is right up your alley....it is not an easy life, but with hard work and dedication it can feel very rewarding even against some FotM profs

its true that carbineers are the thinker fighters. I was pvping last night in chaotic attack on anchorhead. There was a commando running around putting burns on everyone and his action pool was devasted. As i saw him run by i fullautosingle2 him to dizzy state then chargeshot to knock him down and spammed the hell out of legshot 3. within three shots he was gone and praying for rez. But to top the strategy element off i did the first two specials with a speed sliced dh17 so they were both done within a second. Then i switched to a dxr6 to break through his psg and took him down easy. Good times.
but then a jedi came up and killed me but eh what can you do about that.

NIce story and so true about the Jedi.....they are the NEW CM of PvP......
And from the STICKY posts I am sure you are aware that LegShot3 is identical to LegShot2

i ve been playing since live launch too, well since beta 2, and i just picked up carbs for the first time as well.
and i am LOVING it, just as was said, i too like that you have to think to win, and not just mash specials.
pretty damn sure this is a keeper for me, and the crowd here is great.

Yep, best forum, best people, best correspondent, and most fun. Been Carbineer since three days after I got my subscription about eight months ago and have been loving it.

I don't know if this was the case here, but there are alot of players running around in composite on all their body locations and a skirt. Do they think they are Neo? I don't know. I don't ask. Anyway, I hope they enjoy the legshots.

lol i actually did that for a while but only to distinguish to the group that i was the squad leader plus i had a million awesome seas in the skirt. This guy did have pants on but i believe they were ubese possible even padded. Either way i killed him cuz his action was wasted from his specials.

Fourth holocron told me to master crabs on Scylla two couple weeks ago. I did and found it 'pretty good', but slow on cripple and other specials and heavily dependant on being buffed.
Went ahead and finished out marksman and loved what the speed and accuracy boosts gave me.
Silent holo told me three days ago to figure the trest out for myself...and the devs deliver...BH on platter!!!
I already had the scout xp; at the time had CH just taming 3. So, last night I decide to go train BH cause that speed was calling me... I train novice and ding! I train carbs 1 and ding! I train carbs 2 and darn near the third ding! Woohooo! Got Fire Knockdown last night late and will finish today easily with only half of 4 to go! 
Not sure if I will keep master of carbines when all is said and done, but it certainly has gotten a LOT more deadly with these skills and a full aray of fairly high-end weaps.
If you've got a second account, make it a doctor. If not Entertainer buffed, bring lotsa brandy and canape too.!
