I've been a carbineer for awhile now, used to be a master but decided to pursue MBH instead while keeping crippleshot.

We all know ranged professions can't really do much to jedi, however I love my carbines so much I refuse to drop them for melee.

I'm trying to decide what boxes in carbineer are really worth it for what situations.

Crippleshot and the accuracy line is in my opinion the most important tree and shot you can get in carbineer if your a BH.

When legshot3 is fixed this will be a very nice shot to utilize as well as it's supposed to be an Area action dmg shot.

The speed tree I'm not even considering as there is not much use in it I can tell. Now useless against jedi as scattershot was nerfed.

counter attack line, the only thing I like about it is burst 2 most dmging AOE shot. Counter attack itself I think is useless against jedi and in pvp unless your a swordsman with COB.

Special abilities- this is the line that I would like to know more about. Namely Full Auto Area2 and Chargeshot 2. These are both crowd control shots. I don't think they would be any good against jedi unless jedi have a hard time blocking Area attacks. They could help in keeping the jedi's guards at bay while you work on the jedi however. Full Auto Area2 could be good to try to make a group of people flop like a fish but I don't really see this being that likely, seems the states are too random and hard to stick.

Special ablities is prolly good to have if your gonna do alot of group pvp faction fighting. But for jedi killing it's prolly better to only get the accuracy line and then take some medic up to heal yourself.

Anyone like a certain thing about carbineer when fighting jedi at all?

I'll test out the special ability shots against a knight when I finish the tree off.
