I'd say Marksmanship, simply because you'd get crippling shot, which is useful. Then again, I'm not a very advanced Carbineer, so I wouldn't know.

Hi all, quick question. I'm going Master Ranger and Master Creature Handler. That will leave me enough skill points left for three boxes of Carbineer. I'm not looking to be able to solo everything I just want to be able to defend myself and help my pets. So which boxes do you recommend taking. Is it better to go for specials or should I go for skill stacking? I can go up 3 boxes in any one tree or whatever I can get with 12 skill points after Novice Carbineer. Thanks in advance.

CripplingShot is a huge mistake....but the Accuracy is good, however Speed is better. CripplingShot is too slow so stick with FullAutoSingle2 at Novice.

And yes 3 boxes in Carbineer is almost a total waste....tough to dabble in Carbineer or any combat prof really.

To be honest... I'd stay away from carbs with that template and go either rifles or pistols.

My first character is/was mch, mscout, mch, trickshot in pistoleer which gives thw ae fanshot, along with field stablizer and first responder in medic.

With just 3 boxes in carbineer, you're simply going to be too slow and miss way too much compared to the other two ranged elite professions and at a much higher ham cost for specials.

I am convinced that this is an all or nothing profession. Dappling in it gives less returns than the other two.

Best of luck either way.
