Hey folks.
I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the kd and posture down timers.
Are ALL kd and ALL posture downs on the same 30 seconds timer, or can ones from different profs skip the timer.
Example: suppressionshot from marksman is resisted, can i immediately use suppression2 from carbineer and have it work?
thanks!

I've found that, even though a shot has been resisted, doing it a second time can make it stick. As far as I know, both suppression and KD are on the timer for everyone. One way around this is to alternate between KD and suppression, allowing more time to keep away from whatever you are fighting.

i find you can use the same KD until you fail or it sticks. if it fails then use a different KD and its on a different timer cause i miss chargeshot sometimes and then get them with fireKD. and if both fail use supression1 then suppression 2 if that fails.

I really saw no answer here....
The KD timer is 5 seconds which for NPC and PC's can be extended with a Dizzy. The KD immunity timer is 30 seconds. These timers are the same across all professions, not sure about Jedi as they probably have a 10 min KD timer override
.
These timers are based on the TARGET, not you or your profession or switching weapons or specials....while some KD specials may be more effective at sticking KD than others, these timers do not change.
Oh Posture Change has the same type of timers and function the same, but the actual times may be slightly different as my Posture Downs seem to last longer than my KD but that just may be the target not moving....
