Thread: Leg Shot 3
As far as I can tell, Legshot3 is just making the carbineer perform Legshot2. The ham costs are identical, the damage is identical, and the special name for it in the combat spam is identical.
Riflemen get headshots one two and three. In combat spam they are named Head Shot, Expert Head Shot, and Master Head Shot, respectively. For carbineers, leg shots 1 2 and 3 are called Legshot, Kneecap Shot, and Kneecap Shot (same name), respectively. I think the same thing may be going on with bursh shots 1 and 2 but I can't tell because I don't have burstshot2 yet.
What do you think the name for Legshot3 should be?
I have the Strat Guide here which has been fairly accurate with things. (They are especially accurate with armor and the weapons.) This guide was created with the help of SWG. Even Kevin "CP3" or whatever helped with this guide.
Well, they say that LegShot3 is supposed to a multi-mob attack. That means the damage it does makes sense. You do the same type of damage, but you just hit more mobs.
you dont hit "more mobs" with this attack. it is broken. its the same as action shot 2 and needs to be fixed.

i think you mean its the same as leg-shot 2.
my tests with leg-shot3, while far from conclusive as i only used it 10 times before scrapping, went something like this:
damage seemed to cap out at around 600ish witha 24-250 laser carbine, against an AR0, 10% energy resist mob. min damage i saw was aroun 100ish. ham cost was 117, every time, mostly aciton but a good chunk in health and a small bit to mind.
legshot 2 was something like this:
damage cap at around 900ish, same weapon, same mob. min damage i saw was 78 or so. ham cost was identical to the eye...i didn't check to see exact amounts depleted, seemed the exact same.
end result...use full-auto single2 or full-auto area instead. of course, i seem to be doing about 1/3 less damage with THOSE post-patch as well.
/sigh
