Please consider adjusting our HAM costs on the carbine before the changes that are on test are brought to the live servers.
Pistols and rifles are not going to feel this AT ALL! BUT this is basically a direct nerf to the carbineers. I was really hoping you would be fixing some of our skills and bringing our ham costs more in line with the others but instead we are going the other direction.
Consider using timers instead. These changes hurt the carbineer badly. I have logged onto test and tried it, it's really bad. I compared pistol to carbine and the difference is sick.

you should log onto the Test Center and try it before saying its a "nerf". One of the correspondants said he used a carbine and was able to spam more specials than before with the new system.

I logged onto TC to try these changes out myself, but every time I create a character I get into a city and there are speeder bikes littering the area so badly that it just crashes my client.

Hey devs can we here some news about our profession. Please Please Pretty Please or at least let irott know some new stuff. If you tell us what kind of stuff you liked in our threads then us SLs can go into detail about stuff and maybe help you guys out. Letting us know what you like could weed out the erroneus suggestions and we can focus on the tangible ideas. So throw us some info if you can.

Please include abilities/mods for a generic form of melee combat in the update, not just unarmed.
Perhaps giving moves that can be used by any melee weapon, perhaps giving specific ones to all.
Please give accuracy/speed mods to all melee fighting styles if you give any at all.
I play a Fencer/Smuggler, and I will be very disapointed if I see all my TKA/Smuggler friends get bonuses and not me.
I feel, as does everyone that I have discussed this with, that it makes just as much since for a Smuggler to use knives/swords as it does for them to fight unarmed(more since in my opinion)

It just makes sense for smugglers to, you know, smuggle too. But that bit of logic seems to have escaped the people who build the game. You'd also think it would make sense for there to be a Civil War going on, as you know, during the Star Wars period. I coulda swore i read somewhere "It is a period of Civil War..." but that doesn't seem to happen either.
As nice as it would be for your ideas to be seen, heard and acted upon, I wouldn't hold my breath. Logic and common sense seem to be out of bounds for SWG sometimes.

While I agree that the likelyhood of my being heard on this, or any other, message board by somebody who will both agree and have the power to do something about it are slim at best, it is all I can do to express my opinion as to where the profession should go.
